Aviva Community Fund Application – Second London Summer School

Middlesex Association has another opportunity to be awarded a grant of £1,000 to enable us to run a one week summer school next year aimed at new recruits to ringing.

Aviva give 200 awards of £1,000 based on votes from the general public and the successful projects are those which receive the most online votes.

Each of you, your friends and relatives have ten votes each, which you can cast on Aviva’s Community Fund website.  Obviously we hope that you will cast all your ten votes for MCALDG’s application !

Aviva’s website experienced severe technical problems yesterday and we are slightly behind the curve, so any help you can give to help MCALDG get the votes it needs would be much appreciated.

To vote, you’ll just need to following these steps :-

  1. Got to our project page at the Aviva site at:
  1. You will need either to login or register with the Aviva site, using the small link to the right of our main ‘bells” picture :-
  1. If you voted last year you will have a login.  There is a password reminder option if you can’t recall what password you entered last year.
  1. If you did not vote last year, you will need to register, but this is a simple process and requires no more information than your email address and date of birth.
  1. One you have logged in or registered, you will taken to a search screen which allows you to select a project.  Just enter “Summer School” and you will find MCALDG’s project entry.  You then need to vote.  A counter enables you to select the number of votes you wish to cast, between 1 and 10.

Once you have voted, please forward this email to your family and friends and ask them to support us as well.    Those projects which receive 1,000 votes in the next few days will automatically be selected, so it is very much a case of “vote early, vote often”.

Thank you in advance for your support!
