On 18 January at St Anne's, Highgate, the District Planning Meeting discussed the calendar of events for 2014, shared a meal, and enjoyed a Quiz.  Following the meeting we were turned loose on the most amazing bring-and-share buffet - better than I've seen at many professionally catered events.  There followed the Quiz under Quiz Master Patrick Draper (Saffron Walden) who kept a tight rein on proceedings and kept us marching along at a brisk pace.  Our grateful thanks go to Patrick for … [Read more...]

Annual Subscriptions are now due. If you are a member of a band at a tower then it is easier if your subscription is passed on by the tower secretary.  They should then be given to the district secretaries (or the district treasurers, where the responsibility has been devolved to a different officer). Stephen Jakeman, Bell Restoration Officer reports: The work in the last week of January paid off handsomely with the bells positioned in the church for the blessing  by the Bishop of London during the morning service on Sunday 2nd February.
