Young ringers at St Mary’s, Kilburn

On Sunday 7th April I was very pleased to join ten of our younger ringers at St Mary Kilburn at what I hope is the first of a regular feature in the Association & Guild’s life. The youngsters came from half a dozen towers and it was really good to meet them and see them in action. As far as I could see they thoroughly enjoyed themselves particularly so at the ten pin bowling afterwards. You would think they all came from the same tower by the degree of interaction!

Thank you to those who took time out from no doubt already busy week end schedules to accompany them and provide support and guidance. Well done Michael!

Don’t forget that on Saturday 18th October the N & E District has devoted one of its monthly meetings to focus on our younger ringers with suitable sized bells in the City.  This is open to all towers so please do put the date in your diaries and notice boards and I hope to see you then.
