Ringing usually takes place for an hour, typically from 1300, on a limited number of dates each year but is currently suspended whilst work takes place on the tower.
When ringing takes place visitors can usually be accommodated but we ask that you make contact in advance.
You should bear in mind that with 239 steps to the ringing chamber, a 38 cwt tenor and considerable tower movement, strong legs and arms and good bell-handling are indispensible qualifications for ringing here.
