N&E District had a very successful day last Saturday, 19 March, our Quarter Peal Day. Stephen Jakeman kindly and efficiently took over the organisation of the day from Alec Gray who was unwell. 17 quarters were attempted, and 11 scored, which included 10 firsts – ( quarter, in method or as conductor). £386. was raised and donated to the BRF. Congratulations and thanks to all who took part.
